IN COLLABORATION WITH STUDIO PLOW

Situated in the Pacific Heights District of San Francisco, stands a renovated 1920s family residence crafted by general contractor Grain Construction in collaboration with architecture and interior design firm Studio Plow.

In rejuvenating this three-level, 4,142 sq ft Bay Area house, the primary goal of the interior renovation was to infuse warmth and create an inviting sanctuary for the client amid the urban hustle. The team kept some of the key features—such as the original stair railing—but updated them to the modern era. Employing a palette of soft, tactile materials and earthy hues, Studio Plow curated a space that strikes a balance between coziness and expression, catering to the needs of the young family dwelling within. The result is a home that not only exudes beauty.
